This event is open to the world of legacy military aircraft prior to Jets. From silent observation balloons to glider’s; and, to propeller driven craft that surfaced from the early days of military aviation (like those at Brooks Field – San Antonio) during the Dodo Days of Training for WW-I (Photos Below) to the Douglas A-1 Skyraider’s that were used leading into Vietnam – all prop driven aircraft encouraged to attend – custom builds to foam fabrication are invited!

The field venue is a 3200′ ranch airstrip that is 50′ wide and where 700′ has been resurfaced for model aviation scale landing gear. The covered pit area features a 120’x24′ deep area with a 120’x15′ front tarmac to ramps to the runway. Each pit bay is 20′ wide and each pole is equipped with 120vac (gen/solar) for charging; as well as lights for evening access.
